After obtaining a Higher Diploma of Visual Art and Culture from Hong Kong Design Institute and completing the Making and Scenic Arts program at Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Chan went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Birmingham City University. This cross-disciplinary education allowed him to explore various sectors of art-related industries, resulting in his well-rounded portfolio as a diversified artist.
